The EXP-EX-COAX-50 is the proverbial 'get out of jail card' because it's perfect for applications where coax is already in the wall and new wires are impossible to run. Every installer should have a few on their truck!
Other features include:
- Bi-directional IR with emitter and receiver included!
- EDID management
- 1080p 24bit true color depth
- Consumer friendly packaging
- ESD protection
For applications where coaxial cable is the preferred (or only) option, this WyreStorm extender will get the job done!
The new EX-35-4K is from the WyreStorm HDBaseT side of the family and takes full advantage of all its technological gene pool. In addition to transmitting 4K Ultra HD content over a single Cat5e/6 cable up to 35 meters (114 ft), the extender can also send 1080p content up to 70 meters (230 ft).
More good news, the EX-35-4K comes with only one power supply - so the receiver is powered by the transmitter (PoH). This lets the receiver snuggle up real close to those super slim TVs, if you know what I mean. EDID management? Yes! RS-232 control? Yes. CEC Pass through? Yes!
Introducing WyreStorm HDMI Over SDI (Coax) Extender TX-SDI-50 Transmitter & RX-SDI-50 Receiver (50m / 165ft.)
Retro. New Construction. Lifesaver.
Who said coax is dead? Not our new HDMI over Coax Transmitter and Receiver extender products. When used with a single RG6 coaxial (SDI) cable, these products can extend a 1080p 3D signal with 7.1 HD audio up to 50 meters (actually longer - read on). For applications where coax is already in the wall and where running Cat5e cable is not possible, the WyreStorm HDMI over Coax solution can be a real lifesaver.

At only 17mm (0.67") the EX-40 extender is one of the thinnest extenders available -- perfect for those tight, ultra-thin TV installations. Rated for distances up to 40 meters (131 ft.), the EX-40 uses a single Cat5e/6 cable to transmit Dolby/DTS HD audio and 1080p video with bullet-proof reliability. It also includes EDID management and Bi-Directional IR for true control from/of the rack.
As we expected CAT6 cable is finally outselling CAT5E. This can only mean the Home Theater experience has been integrated into the Home Network and is demanding faster more reliable wiring. We all have been expecting this but are we trained and ready to get the most out of our cable installation?
Home Theater Review (.com) recently test-drove the new Denon AVR-X3000 and the results are, as expected, outstanding.
